Taylor Aubrey
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Taylor Aubrey earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2021. Prior to veterinary school, she completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, building a strong foundation in animal science. She currently practices at the New Ulm Regional Veterinary Center, where she provides comprehensive care for companion animals and continues to advance her expertise in working dog medicine.

Dr. Aubrey has trained extensively with the Texas A&M Veterinary Emergency Team (VET) and FEMA Incident Support Team (IST) veterinarians from across the country. Drawing on these experiences, she has been instrumental in developing MNK9SS's canine wellness and deployment-readiness programs.

These programs emphasize proactive, evidence-based veterinary care designed to keep USAR canines healthy, resilient, and mission ready. Dr. Aubrey has helped establish detailed medical tracking systems, pre- and post-deployment wellness protocols, field first-aid standards, and handler education modules covering topics such as hydration, heat stress, injury prevention, and decontamination. Her commitment ensures that every canine on the team maintains peak performance throughout all phases of training and deployment.
