Holly Mulholland
Canine Handler
Holly Mulholland has been an active member of MNK9SS since 2020 and brings valuable experience from her career in the fire service industry. Her background in emergency response provides her with a strong understanding of the demands and challenges faced during deployments, which she carries into her role as a canine handler.

Holly’s primary partner, K9 Rory, is a spirited working dog certified CST-CE, Type I in LF through FEMA/SUSAR. Known for his enthusiasm and playful personality, Rory especially loves a good game of ball or keep away, yet brings sharp focus and determination when it’s time to search. Together, Holly and Rory form a capable and reliable team, trusted to respond in high-pressure environments.

In addition to Rory, Holly is developing K9 Rooney, who is training in HR. Rooney enjoys playing ball and is already recognized for his methodical search style, working carefully and thoroughly to pinpoint source odor. His steady and thoughtful approach makes him a promising future HR partner.

Holly is also working with K9 Drax, an American Shepherd in training for LF. Drax is extremely food-driven and highly agile, traits that give him an advantage when navigating rubble or complex environments. His athleticism, paired with his eagerness to work for reward, makes him a dynamic young dog with strong potential for search and rescue.

Through her work with Rory, Rooney, and Drax, Holly contributes to the depth and versatility of MNK9SS’s canine teams, ensuring a strong pipeline of skilled dogs prepared for both present and future missions. Her ability to balance the training and development of three working dogs highlights her dedication to building capability within the team and advancing the next generation of search and rescue canines.
